Soap making for beginners Saturday 1st June 2019£45.00Learn hands on how to make traditional cold process soap, and how to adapt recipes to your own personal preference.You will also be shown how to use previously prepared soap base to create artistic designs, colours and fragrances.All products vegetarian. Gloves, eye protectors and ingredients will all be supplied on the day allowing you to process 6-8 bars of soap which you can take home. Willow weaving - 8th June 2019 - FULLY BOOKED£60.00The talented Willow Weaving tutor, Jane Frost will be coming to Brakehill Lodge Farm on Saturday 8th June to run a willow weaving course. Workshops are suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience. Learn a variety of techniques for sculpture and hangings for interior or exterior pieces.Students will be able to achieve a selection of sample pieces combining weaving, wrapping and braiding.Remember to wear suitable clothes as we will be in the barn.Willow is prepared about a week in advance of each workshop and can be selected for your project if you let us know.Price is £45 for the day to include lunch and all tools. The materials are £15.
Bee keeping course - Saturday 25th May 2019£30.00Come and learn about the fascinating world of bee keeping. Keith has kept bees for over 20 years and can answer all your questions on the subject and give you a good base to start learning. We start at 10.30am with a break for a farmhouse lunch and finish around 2pm.
Wild Walk - wildlife and plant walk around the farm tracks - Saturday 22nd June 2019£15.00Take a walk with us (small group only) to learn plant names, and hopefully spot some Norfolk wildlife. Only pay for the afternoon tea and all profits going to Norfolk Wildlife Trust. Wildlife books provided for reference.

Garden sculpture in willow for beginners - Saturday 20th July 2019£60.00Come and enjoy a day of creating your own garden sculptures - a sweet pea support, a pheasant, a dragonfly or maybe a bird feeder.
